ETRU provides magnificent spaces for events organised by individuals, entities and institutions. These activities help the Museum’s financial commitments for its cultural and architectural assets and represent a means of consolidating its network of contacts with communities in the local area.
Strega Prize
Since 1953 ETRU has had the pleasure of hosting the annual Strega Prize.
ETRU on the Big Screen
The National Etruscan Museum has hosted sets for films like The Great Beauty and Sin as well as the TV series “Medici: Masters of Florence”. It also featured in the RAI TV programme Meraviglie: la penisola dei tesori and has been used for high-profile private and charitable events.

Sala Fortuna
6x8m. Capacity 70 seated guests.
Suitable as a conference room, equipped with chairs, table for speakers, video projector, laptop and mobile screen. Possible alternative use as a cloakroom.

Central court
28,5x43,5m. Capacity 450 guests.
Possibility of installing tensile structures during winter months.

Hemicycle
Width 5 m.
Capacity to be determined during site inspection based on the number of guests and the planned installation

Lateral Gardens
20x60 m. Indicated for cocktails.
Fontana delle Tartarughe Area
31x45 m. Indicated for cocktails.
Odeion Area
20x28m. Open space with bleachers.

Educational pavilion
12x5m. Capacity 50 seated guests.
Possible use as a conference room, equipped with a video projector and a mobile screen.
How to make a request
1) Fill in a request form and send it as an attachment to mn-etru.concessioni@beniculturali.it at least 30 days before the event

3) An appointment will be scheduled to inspect the space before the necessary paperwork is drawn up.
For the temporary use of spaces to be granted, event purposes must be compatible with the Museum’s cultural vocation and safety requirements.
The use of the Museum’s spaces is subject to payment of a concession fee, surveillance and administrative charges, as well as insurance and cleaning expenses. The temporary use of spaces is governed by art. 106 of the Code of cultural and landscape heritage and helps support the promotion and improvement of the Museum’s spaces and its collections.
